Birsay (Day 3766)
Off to Stromness this morning to deal with what the customer had described as a massive leak from a radiator. The connection from the valve to the radiator had a drip on it and needed to be tightened up a bit, but it definitely wasn't a massive leak. It took far less time than I had anticipated so I dropped in to the horses and put Thunder and Jeepers on the long grass for the morning.
Back home I sorted a few things out and got Sigyn out for her midday wander.
After lunch with my beautiful wife, I had a telephone appointment with the consultant from Aberdeen who has been dealing with my sciatica treatment. Although it is less painful than it has been (I know longer want to puke or cry because of the pain) and although I am not taking any painkillers at the moment, the consultant still thinks the injection will be beneficial. A week today I will be in Aberdeen for my injection.
With that out of the way, HV and I headed for Birsay to collect some hay, then back to the horses to do the chores.
