Back to school. I feel like we've had a bit of a rubbish summer hols. Aside from the first week,  we've both been working and haven't really managed to do any fun stuff with Tobes :0( 
And now it's all over and he's into year 11!! 

Not had a very good day. Found Buddy hoovering up acorns by the field gate. We've had quite a bit of wind and there is a large oak tree opposite with overhanging branches. They are poisonous to horses if eaten in large quantities but I have no idea how many he had. We'd arranged for Edie to come down and ride but I had to sort fencing off the acorns so couldn't spend any time with her. Eva got a bit frustrated as she wasn't listening to anything she said and she's struggling watching someone else ride her pony. I needed to be in two places at once. I'm just struggling a bit for time. I want Edie to progress with Jack but I just don't have the time to spend with her as I've got all the others to do and obviously my own daughter is my priority. I didn't need the extra work doing the fence or the extra worry of Buddy colicking. I'm running on empty this week as not sleeping properly at the moment.
