Are these figures covered to protect them from pigeon droppings or to conceal them from us? Not the latter, as research indicates they are Edward I and Edward VII. Kingsgate House, High Holborn, built in 1904, when Edward VII was presumably as new as Charles III is now. Of course, I suppose we wouldn't put him next to Charles I.
