Walking the Walk

All Kinds of Everything

After Romeos this morning, it was a delve into my wardrobe and drawers for good clothing to take to Ayr Race Course this afternoon. They only take new, or nearly new for the Charity Shop in Ayr, so I ended up with two bundles. One for ACS, and one for the innumerable white plastic bags that get put through our door, saying that they will be collected on Tuesday from our front path.

At the Racecourse there was Steve with the Ayrshire Cancer Support van, ready to take the daily bounty to the shop later in the day, and Rachael, who is in the Fundraising Team.

After a wee bit of steak, my appetite is returning, it was more misery as I watched Scottish football’s attempt to win anything in the last two weeks. Disappointed again, but Hibs were dreadfully unlucky.

I then got bulldozed into watching the last two episodes of Destination X, one of the most awfully disappointing and boring real life games I’ve ever watched on TV. So, reader, the telly has just gone off, the puppy is sleeping at my feet, and it’s now 1.15am. Late again!
