Retirement Luncheon

I went to Kent’s work about 10:30 to be there for the luncheon the plant was having in his honour due to his retirement next month. He has worked at the Sutton Plant for 43 years.

It will be interesting to see what happens going forward as they still haven’t hired anyone to take his place and we don’t know if Kent will or will not be working some for them to finish out the year to ensure the transition goes smoothly.

Coming home I sat in traffic a while as things were tied up in Castle Hayne but I managed to take a back road and avoid whatever the snarl was.

Once home I crashed with my book as I was tired for some reason. Hope this isn’t another fatigue slump.
