Tui …
……………. perched on a neighbour’s feeder.
The colours always amaze me, as well as the white feathers around their necks. There are quite a few flying around the Village now, looking for food. And with some of the flying acrobatics going on I think they might be making babies too.
I visited Hazel this morning and took her a present that I’d bought in Australia. She’s remarkably cheerful in spite of the big disappointment that her gymnastics will be curtailed for quite a while. It could be 12 weeks before the plaster comes off, and then there’s rehab. I really feel for her.
