Dropped Smallest off to his Politics Summer School at the uni this morning, an even organised by our local MP. Tried to go to Trago and got caught in the first shower of the day. Unfortunately it was in vain as Trago doesn’t open until 10….

Had a bit of breakfast then attempted Trago again and got caught in shower #2 - a bit heavier this time.

Finally, after much dithering, we set off for Tintagel and had a lovely but blowy afternoon (and got caught in shower #3). Eldest introduced us to many of her colleagues who were very complimentary about her!

We nipped to the pub to wait for the boys to arrive then all headed to Eldest’s flat for a nose around. We split into 2 groups to get to the Port William at Trebarwith Strand - The Boy drove a car full round while MrRoly, Eldest and I walked down the coast path. Eldest’s flat is at the top of the hill and would overlook the beach if there wasn’t a house in the way!

A top notch meal and then the most awful drive home in the heaviest rain I think I have ever driven in!
