Lost and Found-back blip

Note: couldn’t understand why I had no blip notifications in e-mail. Found out I had neglected to press “publish”. Oh my.
Hubby had an audiology appointment at 8:00. The VA will replace his failed hearing aid in late September. Why should it take a month? Surely they have an inventory on hand. Momma was scurrying around before I came downstairs at 8:00. I quickly made her breakfast. She realized she needed more sleep and headed back to bed after breakfast. I made mine and enjoyed it on the porch. Decided to take advantage of having some extra alone time. I started cleaning the flower garden around our well head. Then the plants in pots in the front garden were pruned. I scattered the spent spider plant seed heads in the formal garden in hopes of adding more color to those raised beds. While out there, I pulled weeds in some of the beds. Noticed the tiger lily stalks in our heat pumps area were dying; cut them all down. Decided to tackle pruning the white crepe myrtle on the left side of our property. Some branches were touching the ground from the weight of the seed pods and dead branches. They look so much better and hubby can walk around without hitting his head. There was another bush that needed the lowest branches pruned. Job done. Hubby returned home after his appointment and shopping trip. Momma woke up after he was in the house. I was ready to put away the pruners anyway. Hubby gathered up all the yard debris and sprayed the non flowering heat pumps garden with some type of harmful insect eggs while I showered and made lunches. He cleaned up, changed clothes and ate lunch. He went to his study to find Velcro for our Easy Pass transponder and saw an array of wallets, money holders. Decided to inventory them. And, lo and behold, my “lost” Euros were in one. I bought Euros to use in Germany in 2022 and promptly left them home. Gave them to Hubby ti use in Greece but he forgot where he put them. We knew they would be found and really did not get upset. But I have been imploring St. Anthony to help us find them before the France trip. This could be our last European trip. One less issue to be concerned with. Wishing you an unexpected “find” moment. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. “Let no feeling of discouragement prey upon you, and in the end you are sure to succeed.” –Abraham Lincoln
