It makes you think.......

I often visit The Howff when in Dundee - it is a quiet place in the middle of the city. Many of the gravestones from the century before last tell the story of Dundee families. The full inscription on this one says:

Erected by John Haddon, Flaxdresser, Dundee and Helen Hamilton, his spouse. In memory of their daughters. Ann, who died 3rd March 1819 aged three weeks and two days. Mary, who died 9th April 1829 aged 4 years and 2 months. Elizabeth who died 21st September 1845 aged 15 years and two months. Also in memory of Mary Brown, mother of the above John Haddon, who died 3rd November 1835 aged 78 years.

Play some blues.
