A little yellow flower died, but this substitute is thriving!

It keeps looking as if it's going to rain, but nothing significant so far...

In other news - I scalded my finger cooking beetroot from Graham's garden. It does taste delicious though... 
The foot, however, is much better, and the ice-pack is my friend ;) 

I also wrangled EON to renew the electricity tariff for Tynemouth - the automatic voice thing was useless; I was then kept on hold for 10 minutes with awful tinny music, but once I was put through to a real person everything went smoothly ;)
