Well it rained

Had to go to the Alcester Shed this morning to carry out emergency repairs  on the button Roman Shield and its covering of resin.

Whilst waiting to gain sccess to the Shed it rained. My Blip was taken through my windscreen as I sat in my car. The effect was caused by the focus not working correctly. However I liked the outcome so I can call it intentional blur.

The resin has not uniformly cured so we worked with heat guns to see if this would help the resin harden. Our next inspection will be Tuesday so fingers crossed.

We went to Solihull in the afternoon so Mrs C could get some stuff from Hobbycraft. Sadly our local one in Stratford has closed down.

Then on to Solihull Moors football ground so I could check out things for tomorrow when I go and watch Southend play a league match. In my teens I travelled all over the country watching them including pre season friendlies in Scotland. But this will be the first time in over 40 years that I have seen them live. I have a seat but it is uncovered and the weather forecast is for rain. Hope my meat pie for lunch does not get wet. Mrs C is convinced I am mad and she is an excellent judge of character.
