Poor show!

It’s a poor show.. when
you rarely get to meet up
yet the snap is cake!

I met some family for lunch, it was a great aunt’s birthday.. lovely to chat and catch up but the traffic was awful so I was late and then I had to take a social worker meeting in the car park before I set off home so I hit the M6 homewards at a particularly trafficky juncture.. I did gain some hand knitted blankets that my aunt was rehoming, so that was a win! And despite us all being together for the first time in ages we were too busy chatting to remember to take a photograph!! This snap was from when I was sent to the bar to document what the ‘cake of the day’ was .. cherry Bakewell cake and lemon apparently! Home now and trying to get organised and cook tea and blip etc.. so that’s all folks!
