Bees Hall
A mild morning dog walk after a bit of rain during the night.
At 11am we took Kyro to the vet for his annual vaccinations. He was keen to get into the car but not so keen to go into the building. I'd kept his muzzle on just in case through fear he'd snap. He was trembling and didn't like walking on the floor and for a while refused to budge from the doormat near the entrance. Eventually he went to the large mat near the reception counter. This is unusual behaviour for him. He usually strides straight through and is confident and nosy.
The vet was extremely patient, kind and talked to him in a quiet, soothing voice. Kept calling him son. She tempted him with liver paste into the consultation room. He was very good while she palpated various parts of his body. She was very swift with the vaccination, rubbed the spot immediately and there wasn't a peep. I took the muzzle off so I could receive a treat. He'd stopped trembling and was much calmer. He let the receptionist give him a treat and was a very different dog from the one that first entered the building. I was hugely impressed by the the veterinary practice.
By the time we arrived home it was drizzling. I needed some supplies so headed to the high street.
I spotted this yellow house the other day so blipped it today. An artist, Brian Lewis lives there who exhibited in this year's open studios. Apparently he is friendly and often invites those passing to see his paintings.
It poured during the afternoon. Mr went to tge museum to see someone about volunteering. I unpacked a few boxes. Found some of my gardening tools, plates and bowls.
Phoned my bestie Giovanna to catch up on news.
Mr left all his soaked items to drip on the beige hall carpet. I hug the coat up and put the other wet items in the tiled cloakroom. Mr complained that he wanted them left where he dumped them. Illogical when trying to look after a home.
Stirfry for dinner and sampled lemon tarts from one of the bakers. Unfortunately they had been placed on top of each other. Being sticky they were a bit messy.
Pleasant evening everyone.
