Flower Friday …..

Hubby off this morning to a friend (to play trains) so I did my usual if flitting from one thing to another.  Had a bit of a headache and stiff neck, kept myself busy.  Managed to get another black bag of clothes for the charity shop, parcelled up a return and tidied the kitchen. 

Hubby home mid afternoon, so we went to the post office, clothes bank and then shopping.  They had a lovely bunch of pink roses that I couldn't resist.  

We had heavy rain, thunder and lightening around tea-time.  Poor Poppy was bothered by it, Lili didn’t flinch (it’s was a very loud crack of thunder), but she is deaf …. :)

Update on bungalow: Our survey came back yesterday before our visit, a list of things to do internally and externally but nothing urgent or structural - phew.  

Tonight we watched the “Thursday Murder Club” on Netflix - very good, we both enjoyed it, great cast and good storyline (confess I haven’t read the book, that’s sitting in the bookcase).
