Plymstock church

Back blip. Went to an emotional memorial service for a friend who died of cancer, aged 78. She was a GP and a very good one and had had a wonderful life travelling and singing and learning languages, horse riding and looking after her dogs, dachshunds! She sang with us in The Green Man and would have loved the chance to sing in The London Songs, an upcoming concert in October, but it was not to be. Sian took us and was very surprised to feel so emotional but Diana had been a singing student of hers and had got a distinction in Grade8 singing! She then went on to achieve Gradd8 in piano! She was always eager to learn more and new things! A real inspiration to so many!

I was looking round the church which was beautiful and full and in the corner at the top there were the carvings which to my eyes looked very modern but when I had taken the picture I could see the coats of arms more clearly!
