FIND THE PRAYING MANTIS
My neighbor has a front garden full of yellow ROSES, which are my
favorite. Today, as we walked by, we noticed a tiny PRAYING MANTIS,
on a flower. Can you find it? If not, look in my EXTRA.
"A PRAYING MANTIS is a predatory insect known for its triangular head, large bulging eyes, & powerful, spined forelegs, that are held in a
"praying" position for catching their prey. These carnivores are
found worldwide in temperate & tropical habitats, where they
camouflage to ambush other insects. They are founding in
grasslands, forests, & home gardens, where they can find
food & shelter."

I am hoping this small garden buddy, was eating its fill of
the aphids that plague Roses. And maybe, it will mosey over
to my climbing Rose bush, in my front garden.
Today is the beginning of the LABOR DAY WEEKEND,
which is the last hurrah of the Summer; but, also honors
all the hard working folks in the US.
