Ripening tail

The Bangalore Whippets' Tails are ripening - I've blipped one of the smaller ones (to avoid showing you the numerous aphids crowding onto the leaves) but some of them are over six inches long! I suspect that they might be quite....piquant. I consulted ogatadomar who, although he has yet to post a blip, has grown many a chilli plant in his long life and has also been to Bangalore - but I quote: "never a whippet to be found, with or without tails". The plot thickens.
