In Memory

A few weeks ago I blipped about the sad news that my pen friend of over 60 years had died.  A celebration of her life was taking place in San Francisco today and I wanted to do something to celebrate my friendship with her.  I decided to go to the coast - P loved the ocean.  It was a beautiful day and this was what it looked like when I arrived.  Beautiful sunshine making the sea have a silver sheen.  I was able to walk along the coast and think of her and our long friendship.

When P received one of my letters, she used to make herself a cup of tea and have cake or chocolate so I called into a cafe and had tea and cake - raspberry and white chocolate cup cake.  Very delicious!

I then walked back along the coast which was still looking very lovely and then I came home.
