Paintbrush flowers
Another day of mixed weather. I went down to the allotment first thing to pick a few raspberries for breakfast. It was such a lovely environment as the sun was out and the whole area felt as thought it was breathing a happy sigh after all the rain we have had recently.
I attended the usual gym classes, sprint cycle followed by a quick food shop and the late morning Pilates. The afternoon was spent packing for our holiday. We have one less suitcase for the hold as we are not away for that long, so it's been a matter of shuffling things around. I was also peaking out into the garden every so often as our neighbour has seen a wryneck bird in his the past few days.
Later in the day I took this photo of the paintbrush flower, Haemanthus albiflos for flower Friday. Its looking rather nice now.
