The Beach

Mid morning we took off up the coast to Balgal beach.....it goes for miles, golden sands, patterns made by the tiny wee crabs, fishermen, lovely gentle waves and wonderful landscapes/seascapes.
I've yet to look and edit the photos but will add to my Townsville flickr album in due course.
The reason we went to this particular beach is the lovely fish restaurant there, we walked the beach then had a early lunch sitting outside enjoying the warmth and yummy fresh fish and chips.
This afternoon we went to a STEM Faire (science, technology, engineering and mathmatics) at Riverside (beside the Ross River).
Lexi loved it and what was on offer, lots of hands on stuff for kids (and big kids too).
Came home rather pooped with a headache after being in the 30 deg heat for much of the day, but its been worth it.
