Pose’s big weekend in Bristol. We had a pint, then lunch at Cor. She was suitably enamoured and impressed from the first bite of bread and butter (I told her it was good!). She had a canele which sadly this month contained crispy jamon so none for me. We shared courgette fritters and this lovely artichoke dish. She had a rose and I had an orange wine, then apricot sorbet for pudding.

So lucky to live so close (and even luckier to have a voucher from my work people!)

Wandered along North Street, hit some charity shops, then to town to see some jazz. King Street was overwhelmingly busy so we went to see Paul at Wolfs as they had some music outside as well. Couple of drinks in the sunshine and a really great band (who are annoyingly not on Spotify).

Home for crisps and dips and some Reading Fest on telly with Matt.
