Rain was forecast to start during the morning. I’m posting this mid afternoon and it still hasn’t appeared.

Having sorted some of the issues I had with the camera yesterday I thought of trying it around Keswick. Then I remembered it’s Park Run morning and the runners park their cars on the same street I use.

Instead a wander around Grasmere. The view to Helm Crag in the main and a more colourful extra.

For the first time in a long time (when I’ve been there) the England flag was flying above St Oswald’s church. Perhaps just coincidence that flag flying is in the news at the moment.
