A lovely day

I had to go into Aberdeen this morning and there were lots of fields with round bales in them and a few with square bales.
The sky was a brilliant blue with wispy clouds, or cirrus clouds to give them their proper name.
On television last night, Monty Don said “It feels like the door is closing on summer” and I think that is so appropriate.
