Penguins

Rain overnight, sunny start to the day then cloud and sunshine.

Had breakfast, made phone calls and did texts then went to K's and drove to Leigh. Walked, looked at shops, went into a church, went down to Old Leigh and watched the tide coming in, lots of people enjoying lunch. We had a snack and cuppa in one of the eateries also took the blip here. At the back of the photo is one of the old railway carriages that used to go along Southend Pier, now installed here and with some of the smaller penguins on parade for charity. Walked back to the car and carried on to the Essex Wildlife Centre at Belfairs mainly to find out when the next meeting is, drove home and now getting dinner ready.
