Had to drive up to the sorting office today to pick up a parcel which turned out to be my shiny new lens. It's a lovely 50mm prime, f1.8 which, so far at least seems to be a great addition to my kit. This is the first photo I took with it after clicking it onto the camera at a set of traffic lights.

I also registered for my graduation ceremony up at the main university building today. Which would be quite exciting if it wasn't such a huge swizz. Fifty odd quid to attend my own graduation? Pah!
I also got myself a haircut so I'm a bit more streamlined in the head department!
