Assembly of J’s garden umbrella pole. She managed to find on line a short length of oak dowel 1mm less diameter than the inner bore of the tube.

So an application of gap expanding glue to the tube interior and it’s done. A minor clean up of squeeze out and possibly a quick spray of grey primer and it’ll be stronger than new!
