Dumfries House.

We went to see Dad this morning, then took our daughter to the train station so that she could return today.

We carried on and stopped off at Dumfries House. https://www.dumfries-house.org.uk/

We really enjoyed the tour ( you can only go around the house in a tour) - but no photographs are allowed, so there are some pictures of the garden in the rain!

They also recommended going at Christmas as the rooms are appropriately decorated, with the candles and fireplaces lit.
