Bad Cells

A hug in the post

Today marked one month since we were told Alex has Leukaemia. And today I received this lovely blanket made by an anonymous member of Mumsnet - they send out beautiful homemade blankets called "woolly hugs" to those who have been bereaved, but have extended this to "little hugs" for poorly children.

The blanket is beautifully made and also came with some wool and a crochet hook (I want to learn), some chocolate, a card, some sweets and a lip salve (as hospitals dry your lips).

I'm so touched, I cried.

Alex has gone to sleep under it.
