The happy couple

We don,t look that happy when this snap was taken
It is our 60th wedding anniversary in about 10 days and like most couples then only had mono pictures taken by the official photographer. One of the guests took a few pictures on slides which have been stored with all the other thousands in a cupboard. Moreen said I should get them out and copy them. This afternoon I sorted them out  and stuck a bit of greaseproof paper onto a window then stuck the slides onto that and photographed them with the Canon and macro lens. I think they have come out quite well but not the quality we are used to with our digital cameras 
Baked the sourdough first this morning then got on with the organ, got the first coat of varnish on and realised I would run out of varnish. I went to the hardware shop but they didn't have the same sort so I went into town. Not much traffic but two lots of roadworks so it took ages so almost lunch time when I got home 
I got another coat on before lunch
This afternoon I got two more coats on, so that's the varnish done 
We had a organ builders Zoom meeting as well so quite a busy day 
Sunny this morning and showers this afternoon still not cold
