Pleats

I had plans today, but the curtains had arrived for the front bedroom.
They are big, so ironing them took a lot longer than expected. So did putting in pencil pleats to turn 5m flat curtains into an attractively gathered pair for a 2.75m window. Anyway, they look lovely and should help with summer sun & winter chills.
I then walked the dog & finally knocked up a home made puff pastry, shallot, mushroom, paprika & goats cheese tart.
A productive, if not particularly relaxing, day.
