Bartering!

Ian and Leo are like a pair of big kids. I bought two chocolate tubs and told them they could share. They then proceeded to empty both, make piles of all the different sorts and then split them between themselves with some bartering over their major likes and dislikes.

The double deckers and eclairs got a thumbs down from both of them so Dad was the lucky(?) recipient of those.

I had a long day at work as I was determined to get something finished. I decided to majorly rejig an online induction tutorial but then got caught up helping a colleague to sort out a problem so ran out of time to get on with it. I really didn’t really want to leave it half finished as I would have been ruminating on it all over the weekend so I decided a late finish was the better scenario.  I escaped about 6:30 with it all done and dusted. As I had started work about 7:30 that was a a long old day so I had an early night and a nice long sleep.

I have slept better the past few days. The cooler and darker nights and mornings are much better for sleeping - which almost makes up for the rotten weather. We had some huge downpours during the day. Luckily I was inside each time but I saw a few people soaked through as they ran for cover.

It looks like Autumn has swooped in all of a sudden after our nice long summer.  I like Autumn, but the crisp and fresh variety, not the wet and windy one!  It looks like a week of rain is on the way!
