The Trials of Bella Boo

Took Bella to the vet first thing thinking at the very least they might keep her in on fluids again but they thought she would be best at home. In the meantime they gave her some more jags - vitamins and an anti-inflammatory. Neither of us can take time off work right now, nor live anywhere near our work, so off we set to leave her alone for about 10 hours feeling very guilty.

We shut her in her 'bedroom' with food and water but by the time we got home she still hadn't eaten. Think she had drank though given the amount of pee on the floor - she is going into her tray head first and forgetting that her bum isn't in there...

She seemed pleased to see us though so at least that is a good sign and we've given her some more food by syringe.

Here she is getting some fresh air at the back door - you can see her swollen tummy sticking out at the sides. She took a little wander out (another good sign!) and is now in her bed at the patio door.
