OH DEAR

Set off on our trip to France…. Very early.
8 people….2 cars.
Began badly as road works made us take diversions down unknown roads in the dark !
Only driving in France 10 minutes when car started clunking ( technical term)….established that there was an intermittent flapping underneath and after two stops to try and fix it ourselves had to call international rescue.
I hour wait
Car had to be taken on tow truck (and us) to a garage in the industrial depths of Rouen.
Half hour wait to have cars underneath bits looked at and fixed. Set off again After another half hour of driving I realised that I no longer had my husbands debit card…. I’d lost it.!!!
What will tomorrow bring ??
