The usual Saturday football special (AKA the 1338 Haymarket to Inverness, stopping at Stirling) was binned due to engineering works.
Instead the 1321 to Glasgow Queen St was employed; changing at Croy and getting the 1402 Croy to Alloa service.
Whilst crossing from platform 2 over onto platform 1, there it was - the find of the day - lying in the undergrowth just outside the station.
(We won 1-0 in a game low on qualify 25/26 Scottish League Two is not the greatest of football; there have been better years. But so far of the 6 or 7 teams I've seen of the 10 in the division, it's poor poor fare for the long suffering fans)
