First full day without Paul at home. A quick update on yesterday as I didn’t take any photos. Paul got off ok yesterday morning - I’d worked at home for an hour or so while he was doing the last bits of packing, then helped check he’d not forgotten anything vital and finally waved him off. Then I headed into work for the usual busy day. It took him a long time to drive up due to traffic problems but he got to Louth and his new lodgings eventually.

This morning I did the supermarket shop and washed the car (long overdue - it hasn’t been washed since I bought it earlier in the year - and then picked a friend up for a trip out to a farm shop and garden centre. We haven’t really got together for about a month so we had lots of catching up to do over lunch and a wander round the garden centre. No plants bought as it’s still too dry to plant anything, but some ideas generated. We haven’t had some rain now (and a bit more today) but it will take a while to soften the ground.

Had a chat with Paul in the evening - sounded as though he’d had a positive first day in his new digs which was very welcome news.
