Nearly ready

This evening Violet's mum came over, bringing with her Violet's uniform for senior school...which starts on Monday.  Earlier in the day daughter #1 and I had collected stationery from Argos, so everything is just about complete.  In this photo, daughter #2, Violet's mum, is giving her a lesson on how to tie her tie, an item of uniform not required in her junior school.
In other news:  I had hoped to feature a photo of Winnie, but she was so alarmed by last night's 'adventure', that she refused to come downstairs, or even show herself, preferring to remain hidden from view!  She won't repeat the 'incident' for a long time to come, that's for sure.
