Everlastings In the Garden

The gardens here at the flats are a riot of plants, so many seedlings have come up and I have no idea what they are.  Since we’ve had some sunshine for a few days a whole lot of everlastings have seemingly suddenly opened up and are nodding in the breeze!!   It really is looking good now! : )
Resting today and had a nice walk at the park late this afternoon where I saw an another family of wood ducks consisting of mum and 10 babies andwhat a gorgeous sight they were!! I first just took a shot as they cruised past in the water and then I watched where they were going and took more shots as mum lead them out of the water but seemed to not realise that the babies couldn’t get up the step!!  She walked off initially with just one following and the others were desperately trying to jump up!! I was thinking I might need to assist for a minute there but then she came back and suddenly a couple of them made it up and then all the others followed! 
It was a great sight to see and mother was quacking at them the whole time probably saying come on you can do it!!! ; )
