I thought it was time…
… to get back in the habit of wandering the steps of town so started today close to home then carried on up to my old school where it’s much easier to get a pic when the GPs surgery is closed and the car park more or less empty (extra).
My saying today is ‘if you don’t ask, you don’t get’.
The saying "If you don't ask, you don't get" doesn't have a single definitive origin, but is a common idiom whose sentiment is expressed by many prominent figures, including Mahatma Gandhi ("If you don't ask, you don't get it") and Nora Roberts ("If you don't ask, the answer's always no"). The idea that one must act and request things to receive them is a fundamental concept that has been articulated in various forms throughout history and across different cultures.
