bees or spiders

Today it was a choice between blips of bees or spiders. I decided the blip of the bee would be slightly more exiciting than one of a giant (4 - 5cm) spider in a white bath.
There are so many bees on the buddleia just now it should perhaps be renamed the bee plant rather than the butterfly plant. I feel quite safe getting up close to snap them as they are obviously more interested in the nectar than in me, although it can be difficult for me (not so much for others) to get a good shot of them as they bury themselves in the petals of the flowers.
