Rain!

At last, a good downpour which has lasted for hours and hours!
Last night the guests phoned, turned up dropped their bags and went out again. They got in at 01.30!
They are the group of university friends who meet up regularly, and about every 18 months or so it is at the house of someone who lives nearby. She hasn’t got room for them all to stay with her so they stay here.
They are a very nice bunch, they don’t want breakfast too early, today it was 10am, and they are usually gone by 12, back to their friend’s house for brunch.
Despite that, and the late meal last night, they were still pleased that Mr F had been to the boulangerie this morning, as they polished off all the croissants, bread and jam, orange juice and coffee we had laid out for them!
