Atlantia

A 1910 Clayton & Shuttleworth General Purpose traction engine, steaming along at the North Cotswold Steam and Vintage Show.

We dodged the showers to pop along today. It used to be the Northleach Steam Show held just up the road from us, but now it is held a few miles away at Notgrove. It had been proposed that we have a Northleach camera club outing there, but I think apart from the proposer we were the only ones who turned up.

Atlantia has featured on here before. Though there are lots of small scale engines, stationary engines and tractors there were only a few large scale engines.

We chatted to a few interesting visitors and exhibitors. There was a photographer lugging around a large plate camera (he said it was in keeping with the age of the exhibits) and a guy from Sydney Australia who said he had come for the weather as they just had 4 metres of rain in Sydney.

In the extra, an exhibitor from East Devon and a building contractor you probably wouldn't want to use.

Oh, mrsfb managed to find a cute Humphrey Bear reading a book, £2. A christening candle holder actually.

Pompey won again yesterday, eighth in the table now.
I might watch some cricket now, though it looks like Somerset are going out of the one day cup at the semi final stage.
