I wanted to go walk in the forest and check if the little oak I found in May had made it through the hot summer. It was fine! I took one wrong turn on the path and walked much more I had planned, but I loved it. Saw some beautiful places, new to me, and met a lady, who advised me a route I'm going to go and see next week. Hopefully. I also hope the long walk wasn't too much for my poor bones.
