Monmouth

Early afternoon we met up with friends and neighbours in Monmouth Town, South Wales (UK) for a coffee and chat.

I got there a bit early so grabbed an aerial view of the town. The thumbnail shows the ruins of Monmouth Castle (1066AD) - the birthplace of King Henry V (1386AD)

His most famous battle was that of Agincourt (Oct 1415AD) and near the castle (to the left of the blue house) is Agincourt Square.

The day has alternated between sunshine and rain with the temperature about 21 C.  Nice to get home and enjoy the rest of the day doing not a lot!
