Checking on the garden

I was awake at 4am as that would be 6am in Greece, the usual time I woke up there. I heard Adam get up very early and go for a run, he ran 23km today. Then after breakfast he went into London to meet up with a friend - Anna stayed behind as she had spent yesterday in London meeting her friend so wanted to relax at home today.

Gavin and I caught up with our admin this morning. I did all the ironing from all the washing yesterday, there was mountains of it! We had a simple lunch at home as I am making a Thai green curry for supper so we do not need two large meals. With lunch I cut up a melon Gavin bought for me at waitrose, it was truly disgusting - hard, dry and not sweet. I think their fruit and veg are not good lately, not sure if it is the hot and dry summer that is the cause of it but I cannot remember when I last ate fruit that actually tasted like fruit. 

I tok Xena to the woods this afternoon for a walk, it was sunny and warm although at one point I thought it would rain but it didn't. Here she is in the garden when I was checking on it.

Now I better start on the supper!
