Kicking off

The last Madison for a while -- see the series here. Last swim this morning too: the water was a chilly 22C and there were only two of us. The last Sunday lunch featured bavette and chips for 66 people. S and T came over for it, which was good as somehow we've barely seen each other this summer for one reason or another.

It  was sunny and not too hot while we ate, but now it's a dull grey evening, appropriately enough. And it's going to be another early night. Farewell summer!
