Loved that book.

So continuing with ‘mousegate’ from last night … we got up this morning and I found the wee mouse amongst my stuff. Obviously I couldn’t catch it so we left the room, closed the door keeping the mouse in there whilst we did our things.

We did have a plan. And some may not like this. But we needed Thierry the cats help.

I went for a lake swim. I’m a tad weary so I didn’t swim far. I got home and started preparing for later. Then Thierry arrived and we encouraged him into our room and watched and waited. He hero’d it. He caught the mouse, killed it and left it to us.

We then cleaned up, I put everything back and ‘mousegate’ was over. But we really need to sort this out. Thierry is very generous with his animal gifts :-0

Then family started arriving. LongLegs and IrishGirl first. Then NoaNoa. Then DougsJB and PuddleDuck with The DiddyOne and then HatBox and SkyeMan, and finally my
MIL. We so so missed having Dot.T and WelshMan with us but they were away. I guess the gathering was primarily due to the twins birthday last week but it’s just so good to gather.

We had a lovely day. The DiddyOne was on top form and delighted all, even the dogs, who don’t seem to phase her. And HatBox, now 35 weeks pregnant, causes such excitement amongst us all too.
