Starlings

……………………………………gathering for a murmuration on nearby rooftops.

An early start as the wee one woke at 6.22am…he had actually wakened earlier but went back to sleep when I told him it was too early! It was late morning by the time we were both dressed and he spent the rest of the day eating me out of house and home before Pops picked him up before his teatime.

It’s been a mostly nice day though we did get a shower this afternoon…which has kept the pots watered. An evening stroll along the prom earlier, it was cooler than of late but still very pleasant. As I headed towards prom a murmuration of starlings went over having taken off from half of this row of houses…I wasn’t quick enough to catch them on camera though. Three of the roofs at the other end of the row were full to bursting and must have flown whilst I was further down the prom as they were gone on my return journey.

Spoke to a friend from camera club who was out watering his garden and came home with a bag of apples and pears off his trees…I’ll look forward to enjoying them in the days to come! I’m very late on parade as I realised my iPad needed charged, the wee one having purloined the cable earlier to recharge the old one he uses.
