Nasturtium Tree

When I first saw this in Cathleen's poly tunnel I thought it was some sort of imitation Christmas tree.

However , original as it is, it is merely a demonstration of the climbing power of the nasturtium, which seeds itself everywhere.   

They are good in salads though, with the flowers having a very peppery taste.  And they do look good , though perhaps this features a few too many !     

(Postscript; it has now been demolished as part of the autumn clear out....!)
