Morning Glory
Of course, this is NOT a morning glory plant; it's a Rudbeckia (often called Black Eyed Susan, I am told) but due to the rainy weather forecast for today being mostly rain, and my being out anyway for a morning appointment at the GPs, I took this shot early.
The appointment was a Respiratory Check-up. I was diagnosed with COPD earlier this year- I was a smoker for decades, and a lot of that time included non-filtered smoking- and have been on inhalers ever since.
This was the first check up after that initial diagnosis, and I am pleased to report it all looks good. As good as it could be, in fact.
This week I have to decide whether to buy a camera now, or wait another month and buy a much better one. I am really not happy with my current NEX5. It's fine, and produces great little pics. But it has no viewfinder and the screen is terrible. It has no real focus aids, other than a zoom, which considering the quality of the screen isn't too great. As a manual shooter for the most part, due to vintage glass, this is less than ideal.
I think I'll probably wait, and get something a little better. Though whether that will be Full Frame, APS-C, or Micro Four Thirds, I still haven't decided.
First world problems, eh?
