Apply

I woke up early again, although my alarm clock was out by two hours. It was 6am instead of 4am on the clock.

I've done quite a few things today. Followed up on some initial inquiries after I left. I've not heard anything back yet, so who knows.

I was going to work on my website again, but the motivation wasn't quite there.

Went for a lunchtime power ramble, the first in ages, and got soaked barely 5 minutes out of my house. But on the positive I had a really good chat with my young padawan. Her head is definitely down and I think she is in the quiet quitting stage. I've told her she needs to accelerate her job search.

Lo and behold in the afternoon she messaged me with a job. I don't know if I really want to jump back into the corporate world, but as it was with BSI who I know well, I thought why not. Besides, if I get an interview it will be good experience again. I've also applied for a job with Mars as well, the food people. Lol!

I want to try and go a few places this week but I think the weather is going to be my problem. We will see.

As you can see on the power ramble, the river is exceedingly high.

Today I am thankful for:

1. A good catch up with my young padawan
2. A good power ramble
3. Following up on a few inquiries and applying for two jobs
